SBS Talks 2020

The SBS Talks 2020 have been cancelled!

Dear friends of the SBSTalks 2020,

we were very happy about the numerous registrations for the SBS Talks 2020. You have probably heard from the media or from your company which threats are currently caused by the infectious disease COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

It was a hard decision for us, but all available information about the disease is speaking against the SBS Talks 2020 being held on May 6 and 7, 2020 in Salzburg. So we have decided to cancel the event.

A valuation of the health risks using a checklist from the Austrian Ministry of Health has shown that even if numerous hygiene and precautionary measures are taken, an increased health risk can be expected. In addition, we learned from some customers and partners in advance that participation in bigger events is not allowed anyway due to the health-related security measures of their companies.

At this point we would like to thank you very much for the great interest in our event.

Our thanks also go to the numerous lecturers and exhibitors who, in the preparation phase, agreed to support our event. These companies are:

o Diebold Nixdorf
o Finanz Informatik
o Giesecke+Devrient
o GRG Banking
o Keba
o NCR
o Österreichische Nationalbank
o PSA Payment Services Austria
o Ratiodata
o ScanKnowHow
o SIX
o Union Pay

We all hope that the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) can be curbed in the next few week. Since there are also signs that the disease can be expected to spread further in autumn 2020, we will not postpone our event. However, we are sure that we can invite you to further SBS Talks in the coming years and look forward to seeing you again in Salzburg.

We wish that you stay healthy through these turbulent times.

Best regards from Salzburg,
Wolfgang Braunwieser
on behalf of the entire SBS Team
